While in theory we all know how to apply lipstick (usually on-the-go while vaguely looking in the mirror, then pursing your lips together), if you want it to look great, suit you and last all day (or night) then you need to employ a few little tricks of the trade. You see, there's actually quite a lot to consider - the lip line, whether the colour is going to bleed, if you’re wearing the right shade, whether you need more than one coat.
